If you are willing to go deeply enough into your practice, you may come to some epiphanies about the world and your place in it, as this group of stories demonstrates. Connecting to energy greater than your own personal energy, you too will be able to see the big picture of your life and gain a better sense of meaning and purpose. Take your practice time as a precious moment with yourself. Get to know who you are and where you fit in the grand scheme of the universe.

Healthy Information

Dahn Yoga is an entrepreneurial environment and allows more room for a range of individual responsibilities and motivations. Brain Wave Vibration seems to allow people to take a deeper look at themselves and the things holding them back. These people were all able to transcend information about themselves, gaining the ability to step forward in life.

The biggest change that happened to me is I ran completely out of the limiting information that used to confine me. When I ran out of negative information, I sensed that something had changed in my brain. Since then, whenever I encounter a knotty problem, I try to get an answer through Brain Wave Vibration.

Dahn Yoga Books About Operating System

The easiest thing would have been to return with my student to Korea. First impressions are always strong, and it was hard to resist negative information that my brain created to explain the situation. I could have concluded that America is a bad place or that this event was a bad omen. In troubled times, it is easy to fall for this way of thinking. However, I decided that my greater goal was far bigger than this one temporary situation. So, I opted to change my information about the event.

I decided not to think, “I was robbed when I came to America.” I also did not want to think, “I have lost several thousand dollars.” Instead I decided to think, “I made a donation to New York City.” That way, I could be happy about the incident and move on toward the creation of my vision. And indeed, that “investment” did give rise to many great things, none of which would be possible if I had followed the negative thoughts and emotions that came with the initial event. Negative emotions are normal and natural in the face of life’s challenges, but to be caught up in them is detrimental to the progress of life. Realize how quickly you can change your brainwaves, and always keep an eye on the greater vision of your life.

How to improve the flow of energy

Brain Wave Vibration can function as a kind of energetic and creative battery charger for your body and brain. Whenever you find yourself in that energetic valley, or when you feel blocked creatively, use the method to bring new life to your day. By doing so, you are shaking loose the tension that has built up in your body, and you are opening your body to new energy. Furthermore, as you quiet your thinking mind, you give the creative right brain a chance to chime in, allowing new opportunities for innovative ideas and solutions.

According to Asian traditional medical models, we all have meridians that run through the body and carry life energy, known as ki. According to this model, any pain or disease that occurs in the body is the result of blockage to that energy flow. Acupuncture, a method whose efficacy has been well established in several studies, seeks to improve the flow of energy, fine-tuning it for optimal health. Many mind body practices, like tai chi and yoga, also help open up these pathways. Likewise, Brain Wave Vibration allows you to shake loose the blockages in your body for better energy flow.

Dahn Yoga Wiki & Body Operating System

I encourage you to set a truly marvelous goal for you. Don’t choose something small and safe that you already know you can achieve without much of a problem. Rather, choose something that would amaze even you if you were to achieve it.

Choose something that fills you with delight just to think about. It some part of you says, “But I could never do that,” just dismiss it as some out-of-date part of your operating system that needs to be replaced. Of course, I know it is not so easy to set a grand goal. Like anything, it needs practice. You can practice by moving toward.

You must remember that life is not a romantic movie. When you take a big step forward in life, it is not like that anyone will be there to say, “Congratulations! You are so brave! Here is your reward.” If you have someone that supportive in our like, that’s great, but don’t count on it. In tact, like sometime- cli-he- up exactly the opposite.

Ilchi Lee Earth Citizen – Wisdom of East and West

One key habit, I think, was that he walked regularly, and always with a spring in his step. His gait and demeanor were so youthful that he soon garnered the nickname Forever-Young Brother. On the day he died, he played a game of tennis in the morning, had a full lunch, laid down for a nap, and then gently passed away in his sleep.

The time has come to mix the wisdom of East and West to really get the most out of life. Scientists have set the human life span at 120 years, yet few of us live even two-thirds of that in good health. The pharmaceuticals and medical technology we have are amazing, but to live life fully we must rediscover some of the old wisdom that connects us more intimately with our own bodies. Western medicine has many gifts to offer, but the old systems, based sometimes on hundreds of years of human experience, should not be dismissed out of hand.

When thinking about the definition of health, we should think about more than just the mechanical functionality of our bodies. We should consider the quality of our actual being and the content of our moment-by-moment experience. Our technological society has, in many ways, given us a more comfortable existence, but it has also separated us from ourselves.

Patterns of negativity

Here are some helpful lines about subject in words of Ilchi Lee

Of course, the other parts of the brain keep working for us, but we do not educate ourselves to use them well. The thinking mind has become so central to our lives that it often carries us away from ourselves into patterns of negativity. Constantly judging everything that comes our way, we send our bodies into a state of continual alarm and lack of equilibrium.

Many recent studies have shown the beneficial effects of meditation, which is essentially the practice of slowing, or even stopping, the thinking mind. The physical benefits occur because meditation gives our brain a much-needed rest from the constant mental chatter that keeps us stressed. Thinking is not necessarily bad, but at times we need to find ways to move beyond thinking, for our own health and for the health of others.

Make Peace with Your Brain Stem

The history of humanity has been a constant progression toward the limits of rational thought. Through our ability to judge, analyze, and plan, we have gone a long way toward controlling the vagaries of human existence. In some ways wre have tamed the uncontrollable, mysterious aspects of life on this planet. In doing so, however, we have introduced imbalance, both in our own personal lives and on the planet. The effect of imbalance on the Earth is becoming obvious, and the effects on our health are becoming clear as well.

Modern life essentially puts us each at war with our own brain stem, as we suppress the pre national, subconscious side of ourselves in favor of rationalistic obsession. Our educational system currently favors those whose gifts arc in analytic, left-brain activities, like reading and mathematics. Psychologists acknowledge that there are many forms of intelligence, including interpersonal, emotional, and creative intelligence, but these are not the talents that usually earn the accolades. We do not educate the whole brain; rather, we develop and reward the prefrontal cortex nearly to the point of excluding the rest. The same continues throughout life as cognitive-based skills usually earn greater money and status within society.

Constant movement of mind

The key is to evaluate the invisible energetic element that cannot be so easily assessed by scientific investigation, but that has been understood intuitively by many generations of people across cultures.

The difference between Mr. Min and most people his age is not the superiority of his biological functions but the energetic spirit with which he lived. Essentially, he learned to manage his energy effectively. Our lifestyle today could be likened to a yo-yo that is continuously on the move, up and down, over and over again. If you have played with a yo-yo much, you know that after a certain amount of time the string becomes kinked and the yo-yo no longer runs smoothly. Every once in a while, you have to stop and let the string unwind. Think of Brain Wave Vibration as a way for you to stop the constant movement of your mind to let it untwist and become whole again.

Practice-Wide-Awake Walking

Posted on September 30th, 2008 in Brain Education by augustrush

Walking is a fabulous exercise for many reasons.
Regular walking reduces the occurrence of many common diseases and contributes to a general sense
of well-being. These benefits are probably no surprise to you, but did you know that walking is also
good for your brain?
Many areas of the brain work together to facilitate this commonplace, yet remarkable, activity. Just the act of walking in itself is like a great wake-up call for the brain. In fact, many famous artists, philosophers, writers, and musicians, including Charles Dickens, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Thomas Jefferson included walking as part of their method of finding inspiration. It seems that the complex mechanism of
walking touches on many parts of the brain and allows ideas to flow in new and exciting ways.
So use walking as a way to awaken your brain and find inspiration for your life as well. As you walk, make a
point of engaging all of your senses fully. Most of us tend to rely primarily on the sense of sight, so make a
point of using your ears, nose, and skin as well. Take in all the layers of sound, smell the many fragrant odors of the day, and feel every part of your body as you move through the air.

The site is meant to add a little inspiration and hope to the world. Go every day to feed on your own portion of hope.

But what does this have to do with Dahn Yoga? Besides being a site related to the founder, Ilchi Lee, it is relevant because Dahn Yoga is actually a tool from which people can find hope inside no matter what the external circumstances.
